Our Guarantee and Return Policy (US Customers)

If you are not 100% satisfied with the fit of your David August purchase, please return it for a prompt and complete refund. If you exchange your product, and are still not 100% satisfied – you will get a prompt and complete refund.

We ask our customers to provide any returns within thirty (30) days of the product being delivered. Products must not be damaged, worn or have been further altered.

Gift Cards

Gift Card and E-Gift Card are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Lost or stolen Gift Card is not replaceable.

Customer Alterations

David August is unable to warranty product if it has been further altered, amended or tailored.


Unworn shoes can be returned up to 30 days from ship date.

Return - It's Simple.

Return shipping is free of charge. Once we have received and processed your return (usually within 48 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied. Some credit card companies take up to five (5) business days to post that credit to your account.

Our Guarantee and Return Policy (International Customers)

Returns and exchanges are accepted on sales outside of the Continental US.  However, the purchaser will be responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) and ensuring the item(s) is returned to our warehouse. 

 In addition, the shipping charges for the new item(s) will be the purchaser’s responsibility on exchanges.  The exchange item will be shipped upon receipt of the original item.
